How Apollo Group Evaluated MongoDB

The initiative was to require significant changes to the existing IT infrastructure in order to accommodate a substantial increase in the number and diversity of users, data, and applications.
They set out to evaluate which technologies would be best suited to support the platform, evaluating MongoDB, a NoSQL document-oriented database.
