VistaMart consolidates and aggregates key measurements from distributed InfoVista Servers, creating a centralized point for comprehensive global analysis. Distributed InfoVista Servers perform the front-end, real-time analysis, providing a wealth of detailed information about each monitored element. Highly detailed performance data is stored and maintained by the InfoVista Server, while only the data required for global analysis is moved to VistaMart.

Consolidating only the level of detail required to meet business needs saves significant resources, thereby enhancing InfoVista's scalability. Using a flexible configuration process, users select the data they wish to consolidate for global infrastructure views. This typically consists of hourly or daily data points on key performance metrics, such as availability, utilization and response time measurements. To provide direct access to the detailed data, VistaMart tracks the source of the data, enabling VistaPortal to seamlessly retrieve the detailed data stored on the InfoVista Server, as requested by the user.
